The only positive feature was the cost.
The place is shabby and borderline filthy. There was black mold on the shower curtains. The sheets had holes in them and were not changed during the four day stay. Not changing the sheets was acceptable, but the holes were not. The floors were not cleaned during the stay as there were two piles of dirt on the bathroom floor when we arrived that I did not clean up, and they were still on the floor when we left. There were blobs of dried soap on the soap tray next to the bath tub. There was allegedly a free breakfast, but the appearance of the dining area suggested that it should be avoided. A couple and two young ladies decided to depart after viewing their rooms. We should have left also.

Nothing, it was my only choice when the power was out in the area. The air conditioner and water pressure were ok.
Not clean at all, the carpet had wet spots and my socks were stained when I took my shoes off and walked across the floor, the pillows were stained, there was hair in and around the toilet, the tv was tilted sideways on a pedestal and the springs were hanging from the chairs which I could not even sit in. I forgot to mention that in order to flush the toilet, the water had to be turned off and back on.

The guy who checked us in was extremely nice. We did receive a King-sized bed in a non-smoking room which we had requested. There was a small fridge and microwave in the room. The internet was reliable.
Visible mold and mildew on tub/tile and shower curtain. King sized mattress, but no king-sized sheets or bed coverings at all except the "comforter". There wasn't even a mattress cover. I think one of the blankets was only twin sized, because it was much too small for two people, so no matter what one of us was cold. Blankets had holes/burn marks/looked worn out. The "free breakfast" had two options: stale bread for toast or plain corn flakes. No juice, just sugary punch. The milk was left out on the counter which is against FDA codes.

There is nothing good I can say about this hotel experience.
1) Room was dirty, carpet and chair stains, bugs (alive and dead) 2) hotel's wireless internet did not work 3) room had no towels 4) the towels we were finally able to obtain had stains on them and smelled musty 5) burn marks, tears in bedding 6) manager refused to see us during his lunch break the next day to discuss our concerns

Tv worked fine.
Sheets were stained. Bath towel looked like someone had wipped their ass with it. Shower faucet was rusted. Ice box was old, in need of cleaning or replacement, and I would have been afraid to put food in it. The claimed "hilly view" on the advertisement was a joke... No view was available except for the concrete parking lot in need of some weeding. After viewing the room, were not able to get a refund (24 hours only) but decided to simply leave.

Ideal location in the City of Winchester - close to restaurants and shopping as well as proximity to major highways and the interstate. Rooms were very quiet.

Very little, very run down not well maintained. The place could use some updating. Other than being where I needed to be not much positive to say.
I am a fema inspector pre-positioned for Sandy. I had to leave on a moments notice and the hotel refused to make any adjustment. I just pre- paid to be sure to have a room in case we were held out one more night before beginning our relief work but they refuse to refund or even adjust the rate even though I wasn't going to be there.
